Privacy Policy
Noverly removes logos, watermarks and subtitles from images and videos you upload. This policy explains what we collect to do that, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted.
Effective 14 September 2026
1.What we collect
- Media you upload — the images and videos you submit, the regions (boxes) you mark for removal, any logo image you supply, and the processed results and previews we generate from them.
- Processing records — a request identifier, the original file name and size, the settings you chose, timestamps, processing logs and the IP address the request came from. These let you find a run again on the History page and let us diagnose failures.
- Account details, if you sign in — sign-in is only through Google. We receive your e-mail address and basic profile name from Google; we never see your Google password. An account record with that e-mail is created on first sign-in.
- Cookies — two strictly necessary cookies,
noverly_session(keeps you signed in, up to 30 days) andnoverly_google_sign_in(protects the sign-in hand-off for 10 minutes), plus the Google Analytics cookies described below. We set no advertising cookies. - Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and how the service performs. It sets the
_gaand_ga_*cookies and sends page views, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and device and browser information to Google. It never receives your uploads or their contents. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking those cookies.
2.How we use it
- To run the removal you asked for and let you preview and download the result.
- To show your previous runs on the History page and to investigate and fix errors.
- To keep the service secure, including detecting abuse and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- We do not sell your data, use your uploads for advertising, or publish them as examples on the site. Uploads are not used to train our models unless you explicitly agree to that in writing.
3.Where it is stored and who can see it
Uploads, results and processing records are stored on servers we control. Traffic reaches us through Cloudflare, which terminates TLS at its edge; Google handles the sign-in step and the usage analytics under its own privacy policy. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser’s request for the font files. No other third party receives your media. We disclose data only when the law requires it.
4.How long we keep it
Uploads and generated results are kept for a limited period so you can download them and so we can look into problems, after which they are deleted. Processing records and your account record are kept while you use the service. You can ask us to delete any upload, result, run record or your account at any time by e-mailing [email protected] from the address you signed in with; we act on such requests promptly.
5.Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected]. Signing out clears the session cookie in your browser at once.
6.Security
Connections are encrypted in transit. Access to stored media and records is restricted to the people who run the service and is needed only to operate it and to answer your requests. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so please do not upload material you cannot afford to have exposed.
7.Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the data.
8.Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above changes when we do. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
